Details of this year’s Summer Provision Programme have not yet been released, as soon as we have any info we’ll post it and any associated links on our social media pages.
Regards the application mechanism for this year’s programme, we have previously suggested to Minister Maddigan that the application process should be implemented as an online portal.
A web based portal would offer huge benefits to both Dept officials and the many families that have to push paperwork between schools, tutors and eventually back to the Dept in Athlone. We’d also hope that the proposed portal would eliminate some of the steps currently needed or would at the very least allow for the various pieces of documentation that are required to be uploaded online.
