Declarations

If you completed a Statutory Declaration for last years programme it remains valid for this years programme. If a declaration was completed last year, when returning the paperwork on the top of the diary payment sheet write “Declaration on file from last year“.

If a tutor is working with multiple children only one (1) declaration is required.

Confirmation email not received

Within a few days of your school sending your application you should receive a confirmation email from the DoE. That email will have a download link where you can get all of the paperwork that must be completed by parents and tutors.

If you can’t see the email please check your spam folder, your school should have also received a confirmation of your application. If they are closed you will need to contact the Home Based team directly by email using homebasedsummerprogram@education.gov.ie asking them to re-issue you with your confirmation email.

Paperwork required

The paperwork parents and teachers must complete is available via a download link on the DoE confirmation email.

Late Applications

If your school Principal / teacher is still available they must contact the DoE Home Programme team to request the application portal be reopend to facilitate your late application. The DoE team will let the school know if a late application is possible.

The home based team can be contacted by email using homebasedsummerprogram@education.gov.ie

FYI Parents can apply even if they don’t already have a tutor organised.
