I am a qualified tutor and SNA for special needs education and caregiving. I am available for July/August Provision. I am based in Galway city and can also cover the County Galway area.

About me:
- 7 years experience working with children and adolescents as a class teacher in both primary and post primary and 2 years as an SNA.
- As well as comprehensive experience in both the primary and secondary curriculum, I am also experienced in working successfully with children with a range of needs from care routines, feeding (FEDS), ASD/challenging behaviour and complex syndromes in a way that promotes the participation of the child in their own development. I have worked in a primary, post-primary and special school educational setting.
- 'A' grade in Teaching practise and Portfolio in teaching, 2.1 Hons.
- Distinction result as an SNA,
- A practised Scientist with an Honours Science Degree, I engage children with fun, safe science activities.
- E.C.D.L. universal computer qualification.
- T.E.F.L. (Teach English as a Foreign Language), useful with E.A.L. teaching English as an additional language.
- Completed courses with Middletown centre for Autism in 2018 and 2020 to keep up to date.
- Fully registered and Garda vetted with the Teaching Council
- References available 

I can provide extra tutoring in the afternoons for the new school term also.

Hi David, I hope your keeping well. I am looking for a tutor for the Summer Programme for my 6 year old boy. He has a speech and language delay but is verbal, he is a very happy and mischievous
little boy. For the summer he needs to work on his fine motor activities threading beads and that kind of thing, he is great with his phonics and all that. We want it to be fun and play based. If you are still available for the summer program would you be interested in working with us? We are in Headford just out side Galway city we are extremely flexible for July or August but if you are busy that's fine to 🙂
